What day does new episodes of Gen V come to Prime Video?

As we get closer to the Season 1 finale of Gen V, fans want to make sure they watch episodes immediately. What day do episodes come out?

There is no doubt that Gen V has been worth the wait. This college-based spin-off of The Boys has brought us more gore and more trouble. We’re over the halfway point now, and we’re ready to see how it will all play out.

Of course, you want to check out the series immediately when episodes come out. You want to avoid social media while you wait to watch the episode because it’s full of spoilers. That means you need to know when exactly the new episodes will arrive on the streamer. You want to jump straight into the episodes…well, at least once the kids are in bed.

When Prime Video releases new episodes of Gen V

The official release date is on Fridays. This tends to be the case for all Amazon shows, but there are the odd ones that drop on different days. However, for this The Boys spin-off, the show is dropping on Fridays.

Amazon releases content at midnight UK time on Fridays. That usually means we get the episodes a little earlier in North America. Look out for the episodes on Thursday evenings, usually around 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT.

This early release isn’t guaranteed. You’ll need to check your Prime Video account to see if the new episode is available each week. Sometimes, there’s just a delay by an hour or so. It’s very rare that we have to wait until the official release day for new episodes. That’s even the case for the bigger Amazon shows, so we doubt it will happen with Gen V.
