It shouldn’t be surprising to see Percy Jackson hit the list of most sold Amazon books as we get closer to the Disney+ series arriving.

There’s no doubt that the Percy Jackson books are popular. They’ve just bene out for so long that the books haven’t made it to the list of most sold books on Amazon before. That has changed now.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan entered the list in second place. It comes not too long off the back of the news of the series dropping on Disney+ in December. Of course, new fans are going to jump into the book series to get an idea of what to expect.

The Running Grave enters, The Lost Bookshop falls

You’ll remember that The Lost Bookshop by Evie Woods soared to the top of the list during the previous week. It has started its fall since then. It dropped six spots to land in seventh place last week.

It wasn’t the only drop, either. Things We Left Behind by Lucy Score dropped three places, which isn’t that surprising considering the book also dropped the list of most read books.

There was a good selection of new additions to the list throughout the week. The Running Grave by Robert Galbraith (J.K. Rowling’s penname) entered in fourth place, while The Armor of Light by Ken Follett entered in 10th place.

James Patterson’s new book with Mike Lupica called 12 Months to Live entered in 12th place, and there were two other new additions further down the list. There was a lot of mixture when it came to genres.
