We are more than ready to see what’s next for Belly and her friends. At the end of The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2, Belly chose Jeremiah. Jere and Conrad left things on a good note after a heart-to-heart, allowing Belly to choose the boy who had constantly showed up for her this whole time.

Now it’s time to see what comes next for them. Will they be able to make it, or will their relationship end in tears? That’s something we need to wait for the third season to see. The problem is that third season is not arriving in October 2023.

Of course, that shouldn’t be a surprise. The second season only just finished, and the series as “summer” in the title. It kind of suggests when the series will arrive.

When will The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 come to Prime Video?

We have a bit of a wait on our hands for the series. The WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes were going on when the show was renewed. In some good news, the WGA strike has ended, so writing will be able to start now. The SAG-AFTRA strike is still going on, which means production won’t be able to start up.

We would usually say that The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 would arrive in summer 2024. That may be difficult with the situation in Hollywood as it currently stands. It could mean that we need to wait just a little bit longer, maybe into the fall. With the lack of CGI that is needed for a series like this, we’re certainly expecting to see it before the end of 2024.
