Are you ready for some football, because I sure am! Friday might not yet be here just yet, but Thursday’s arrival means the stars of Week 5 in the NFL season and a new Thursday Night Football game tonight on Prime Video!

Week 5 will kick off in primetime this Thursday, Oct. 5, as the Chicago Bears face off against the Washington Commanders. It’s been almost a year to the date since the Bears and Commanders last faced off in October 2022 in a game that wasn’t exactly the most eventful. The Bears managed to secure a win in the low-scoring 12-7 contest between the two teams.

Fast forward to this season and there is a strong chance we could be in for another low-scoring game, but there is also just as equal of a chance we could see the teams lighting it up on the field in a shootout. This is because both teams are pretty equal, even though their records tell two totally different stories with the Bears having yet to win a game while the Commanders sit at 2-2 on the season.

This evening’s Thursday Night Football game should be an interesting one. By interesting, I mean there is a chance that tonight’s game could be really eventful or dreadfully boring. That’s not a shot at either team, it’s just a reality in that neither has been delivering the most can’t-miss moments from the season thus far.

The Bears have yet to win a game this season, while the Commanders are sitting at 2-2, which is why many are predicting the Commanders will walk away victorious this evening. While it’s a fair assessment and prediction to make, we’ve learned to never count out a team looking to get their first win of the season in primetime. The Bears were incredibly close to getting their first win last week over the Denver Broncos, so perhaps tonight fate will finally be on the Bears’ side.

If you’re hoping to watch the game, you’re going to want to make sure you have an active Prime Vidoe account as the Bears vs. Commanders game will be streaming exclusively via Prime Video this evening. This is, of course, unless you happen to be in the Chicago or Washington area as local broadcast affiliates should be covering the game so we encourage you to check your local listings to see what channel might be carrying the Bears vs. Commanders game.
