Most sold Amazon books last week: Matthew McConaughey enters and more

Matthew McConaughey has a new book out, and it entered on the list of most sold Amazon books last week. Here’s the full list.

When a celebrity writes a book, people tend to buy it. Matthew McConaughey is celebrating the release of his book Just Because, and it is one of the new additions on the list of most sold Amazon books last week. It’s not quite as high as we’d expect, but there’s time for people to realize it’s out and to buy it.

There were four other new additions throughout the week. There were also some notable movers between Sept. 17 and 23.

The Lost Bookshop up, four new enter

The most notable mover of the week was The Lost Bookshop by Evie Woods. It gained 11 places, getting into the Top 5 comfortably. Could we see it move into the Top 3 this week? It will need to combat Things We Left Behind by Lucy Score and Holly by Stephen King, which remained steady in the top two spots.

Code Red by Vince Flynn and Kyle Mills was the first new addition of the week. It entered in ninth place, and we could see it move up this week.

Cruel Paradise by Nicole Fox narrowly missed out on a Top 10 spot with its new entry. She did have a second book, Cruel Promise enter in 18th place as well. Mine to Promise by Natasha Madison entered in the top 15  in 14th place.

These new additions did mean some big books dropped. The Coworker by Freida McFadden and None of This is True by Lisa Jewell lost four and five places respectively, while A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas lost two spots.
