How will Soldier Boy be in Gen V?
Jensen Ackles shared that Soldier Boy will have a small cameo in Gen V. How is that going to be possible considering the events of The Boys Season 3?
Back in April, Jensen Ackles confirmed that he wasn’t completely done with The Boys franchise. He does have a cameo in the spin-off series Gen V. It turns out that there was a lot of improvising for this part of the show, and it sounds like it’s just a small cameo with a lot of cameos from other characters from the “mothership” included.
Of course, we know how things ended for Soldier Boy in The Boys Season 3. He’s currently being kept in a Supe coma while Vought figures out what to do with him. That leads to a lot of questions about how he could possibly show up in the new series.
When is Gen V set?
It’s worth looking at when Gen V is set. This series is going to be set during and after the events of The Boys Season 3.
It instantly makes sense how Soldier Boy could turn up. We know that Soldier Boy made headlines around the world. He was a danger to society, and Vought needed to get that situation under control. It is possible that the college students see the news and look for ways that they can help. Maybe they even run into Soldier Boy in person and end up without powers or worse.
As for the other characters, we don’t know all of them that will show up. There are a few that will make sense, including Victoria, who is a Supe in disguise as she helps further Vought’s agenda without the world realizing it.
It’s not clear just how much time will be spent during the events of The Boys Season 3, but even if it’s just an episode, it’s easy to see how cameos will work.
Gen V premieres on Prime Video on Friday, Sept. 29.
