The Expendables 4 is out in theaters, but you’ll want to add it to your DVD collection. When is the Expend4bles DVD release date?

It’s time for another Expendables movie. The last line of defense is back in action, and this is set to be Sylvester Stallone’s last movie in the franchise. Jason Statham’s Christmas will take over the team from now on. Yes, there are set to be more movies in this intense action franchise.

Maybe you’re not ready to head to the movies to see this one, and you want to watch it at home. Or maybe you did head to the theaters, and now you want to add it to your DVD collection. That means knowing when the new release will head to DVD and Blu-ray.

With Expend4bles just out in theaters, it won’t be surprising to hear that it doesn’t have a DVD release date just yet. It’s a Lionsgate movie, which means we can look at other movies from the same production company to get an idea as to when to expect it.

When is Expend4bles on DVD and Blu-ray?

For this post, we’re taking a look at Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret and John Wick: Chapter 4. Both are recent Lionsgate movies to give us an idea of what to expect for The Expendables 4.

Both movies took about two and a half months to go from theaters to DVD. With that in mind, we’re probably looking at Expend4bles taking the same time. That would suggest a release date of around Tuesday, Dec. 5 or Tuesday, Dec. 12. It’s going to make a great Christmas gift for fans.

What about on Digital? This is usually sooner than the DVD, right? It is, but Lionsgate isn’t as consistent with this. Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret took just more than a month to head to Digital. It took two months for John Wick 4 to head to Digital. We’re probably looking at something similar to the latter considering the audience for the franchise, which suggests a late November Digital release date.
