It’s time to learn more about Winston Scott, who we know as the proprietor of the New York branch of The Continental. How did he get to where he is today in the world of John Wick?

The series is set in an alternate version of 1970. The Mafia is on the rise, and there needs to be a good safe haven for assassins and hitmen around the world. The hotel chain is that place, but Winston wants to see things run differently in New York.

Over the course of three episodes, we watched Winston’s origin story. Now we want more, but will that be the case?

Is The Continental: From the World of John Wick Season 2 happening?

While the series is on Peacock in the United States, it is an Amazon series internationally. This is all due to Peacock only having an audience in the U.S. It needed to find a way to get its content out to international waters, and Amazon landed the rights.

There is some bad news when it comes to the renewal, though. The Continental Season 2 will not happen. That’s not because the show didn’t perform well, but because the series was billed as a miniseries from the very beginning.

That’s not to say that more of these spin-off shows can’t happen. The world of John Wick is huge, and we would love to see the origin stories of many other characters. We’d also love to see some continuation stories for some of the characters.
