Is Wilderness renewed for Season 2?

You’ve had the chance to watch all six episodes of Wilderness on Prime Video. Now you want more. Will there be a second season to the series?

Jenna Coleman and Oliver Jackson-Cohen star as Liv and Will Taylor. They seem like they have the perfect marriage, but things couldn’t be further from the truth. Liv finds out that Will is having an affair, and she decides that while love hurts, maybe betrayal is something that will kill.

Over the course of six episodes, we see what Liv is willing to do to get back at her cheating husband. All’s fair in love and affairs, right? And the wilderness is certainly the perfect place for “accidents” to happen.

We won’t give the ending away. What we will look at are the chances of the series getting a second season. After all, we want more of the two leads on our screens.

Will Wilderness Season 2 happen at Prime Video?

It’s hard to say if this show will be renewed or not. I swear that it was originally billed as a limited series, but I can’t find where I saw that anymore. Maybe it has been updated in places, or maybe it was just the fact that the story is based on a one-book story by B.E. Jones.

We get the full story in the book. It would make sense to only have the full story in one season of the TV series. After all, we know that the UK production companies love to make one-season stories.

Amazon as a habit of quietly renewing some of the British shows. You may have completely missed that both The Devil’s Hour and The Rig were previously renewed. This is something to keep a close eye on to see if Amazon wants another season of the thriller.
