Last week was a week of change on the list of most read Amazon books. Four new books made it to the list, causing other books to move down.

It’s not often that we see a lot of change on the list of most read books on Amazon. That’s usually reserved for the most sold list, as a lot of people still buy physical books. However, the week of Sunday, Sept. 10 brought us a lot of change.

The Covenant of Water by Abraham Verghese remained in the top spot. The rest of the Top 5 changed, with the first new addition on the list in second place. It was downhill for a lot of books with other new additions.

New Lucy Score, Stephen King, and more

The first of the new additions was Things We Left Behind by Lucy Score. It’s the third book in the Knockemout series, so it’s not surprising to see it on the list so high right away.

That did mean Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros was knocked out of the second spot. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling was knocked out of the Top 3 entirely. Tom Lake by Ann Patchett was knocked out of the Top 5, as it lost two spots last week.

The next new addition was in 13th place. It’s an apt place for a Stephen King novel, right? This is Holly, which was the new addition to the most sold Amazon books the previous week.

Then we head to the bottom of the list for the other two new additions. Payback in Death by J.D. Robb (Nora Roberts’s penname) entered in 18th place and The Coworker by Freida McFadden entered in 20th place.
