Are you ready to add Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 to your DVD collection? Of course you are, and it’s almost time for it.

The seventh Mission: Impossible movie came out in theaters this summer. We knew that we would likely see a long wait for it to head to DVD and Blu-ray. After all, Tom Cruise movies continue to perform well in theaters. Of course Paramount Pictures was going to take advantage of that.

The official release date is set for Tuesday, Oct. 31. This is actually a little earlier than we expected the release to happen. Is that a sign that the Mission: Impossible movies aren’t as popular as the Scream ones when it comes to theatrical releases? It could also be the time of year.
