Tom Lake by Ann Patchett continues its climb up the list of most read Amazon books. Here’s a look at the full list from Sept. 3 to 9, 2023.

There wasn’t much change on the list of most read books on Amazon last week. The change was just books moving between themselves, with one new addition at the very bottom of the list.

One of the notable movers was Tom Lake by Ann Patchett. This novel has been at the top of the most sold Amazon books for some time, so it was only a matter of time before it moved up the list of most read books. It’s worth noting that the most read list can only include the ways that Amazon can track, while the most sold list will include those who buy physical books on Amazon.

The novel moved up two spots, getting into the Top 5 for the first week. Will it move up further this week?

New Lisa Jewell book enters

Of course, Lisa Jewell books fare well as soon as they’re released. It was another book that entered well on the list of most sold books immediately, but it’s taken some time to hit the list of most read books. This is likely very much linked to the fact that a lot of people will buy the physical book, which Amazon can’t track for reads.

It did only enter in 20th place, but there is plenty of time for it to move up the list.

There were a couple of books moving between themselves at the bottom of the list. The third A Court of Thorns and Roses book moved up. A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas gained a spot, switching places with Hello Beautiful by Ann Napolitano.
