When is Blue Beetle on DVD and Blu-ray?

Blue Beetle is the latest DC movie to hit theaters, and you’ll want to add it to your DVD collection. How soon will you be able to do that?

There is no doubt that you’ll want to add the latest DC movie to your DVD and Blu-ray collection. This one covers a superhero that some of you will never have heard of. We’re moving into the comics that aren’t as popular as the Justice League ones.

Blue Beetle has some similarities to the likes of Marvel’s Venom in a way. A teenager ends up being chosen as the host by an alien creature, and it leads to him getting superpowers that he will need to use to protect the Earth. Cobra Kai fans will be excited to see Xolo Maridueña take the lead in the movie.

When is Blue Beetle on DVD and Blu-ray?

with the movie only just out in theaters, it won’t be too surprising to hear that there isn’t a DVD release date just yet. However, we can look at other DC movies to get a sense of how long this one will take.

We’re going to look at Black Adam and Shazam! Fury of the Gods to get a sense of when Blue Beetle could get a home release. It took about two and a half months for Black Adam to head to DVD, but it took three months for Shazam 2 to get that treatment. It looks like Warner Bros. is moving back to the 90-day exclusivity window for theaters, so we’re probably going to see the three-month window for this release too.

That suggests that we’ll see the latest superhero movie on DVD and Blu-ray around Tuesday, Nov. 21.

What about on Digital? We’re looking at three to four weeks for this type of release, so look out for it around the middle of September.
