Most sold Amazon books last week: A new No. 1

The list of most sold Amazon books saw a change at the very top of the list. There were five new additions in total between Aug. 6 and 12.

There was a big change to the Top 3 of most sold books on Amazon last week. Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros dropped a spot into second place to make way for a new addition. Tom Lake by Ann Patchett joined the list in the top spot.

Tom Lake is a new audio book, only available via Audible. With Meryl Streep as one of the narrators, it probably isn’t that surprising that people want to listen to it.

Third place remained the same, with The Housemaid by Freida McFadden holding steady. However, there was plenty of movement further down the list.

4 more new additions on the list

The Housemaid’s Secret by Freida McFadden is certainly a notable mover on the list. It gained five spots to just narrowly miss out on a Top 5 place. With The Covenant of Water by Abraham Verghese and Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus dropping down the list, could The Housemaid sequel move up further?

There were four other new additions to the list of most sold Amazon books throughout the week. Meghan Quinn’s latest The Way I Hate Him entered well in eighth place. This could hold steady for a couple of weeks, but we tend to see Quinn’s books drop off quickly.

Unravel Me by Becka Mack entered in 13th place, while Judy Blume’s novel Summer Sisters finally entered the list. This fan-favorite made its way into 15th place. The last of the new additions was in 17th place. Defiance of the Fall by TheFirstDefier and J.F. Brink is the book to look out for.
