We are more than ready for another YA series on Prime Video. The genre has been a bit hit and miss, but it all depends on the source material and the initial following. There’s no doubt that Harlan Coben already has a huge following, and fans of his YA book series about Mickey Bolitar are ready to see the stories come to life.

This is another series that is getting a weekly release. Three episodes will drop this week with the remaining episodes coming out every Friday. There are eight episodes in total to tell this story, and yes, it is worth reading the source material first.

When will Shelter premiere on Prime Video?

You’ll get to watch the episodes at the end of this week. The first three episodes of Shelter will premiere on Friday, Aug. 18. As this is a global original, the episodes will drop at midnight UK time.

This is excellent news for fans in North America. You’ll get to watch each of the episodes arrive on Thursday night. Check out your Prime account on Thursday, Aug. 17 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. There isn’t any guarantee of this release, but we see it a lot with other shows. Recently, The Summer I Turned Pretty and The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart have had these early releases happen.

If the episodes aren’t available right away, check every hour or so for their releases. They will be there by midnight local. Each Friday, we’ll get a similar release structure, so look out for the episodes on Thursday nights.
