Only one new book entered the list of most read Amazon books last week. The rest of the change was current books moving between themselves.

It was another quiet week on the list of most read books on Amazon between July 30 and Aug. 5. Only one new book entered the list, and there were very few books that moved between themselves.

The new addition? It’s all about The Collector by Daniel Silva, which was one of the new additions on the list of most sold books the previous week. It’s not that surprising to see it on this list, but it is toward the bottom. Will it move up throughout this coming week?

A small change to the Top 5

There was a very small change to the Top 5. Nothing new got in, but two books switched places. While the Top 3 remained unchanged, Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver moved up a spot to get into fourth place. That led to Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus dropping a place to fifth place.

Further down the list, we saw The Five-Star Weekend by Elin Hilderbrand drop down two places, landing outside of the Top 10. Two Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowling gained a spot each.

Hello Beautiful by Ann Napolitano gained two spots during the week to get into 15th place. That caused Happy Place by Emily Henry and Haunting Adeline by H.D. Carlton to drop a spot each. And yes, the arrival of The Collector saw one of the Sarah J. Maas books drop down a spot.
