Is Meg 2: The Trench on Amazon?

You enjoyed the first, and now it’s time to check out the second. Meg 2: The Trench is out in theaters, but where will you be able to stream it at home?

It’s time for another shark movie. You adored the first Meg movie, and now you’re ready to see Jason Statham back in action in another one. Of course, you can head to theaters right now to see it.

Just like any sequel, this movie picks up with many of the same characters from the first as they deal with yet another giant shark problem. Jonas Taylor leads another exploratory team to the depths of the ocean, only to have to deal with something else he never expected. Can he use the lessons he learned from the first one to save everyone involved?

Is Meg 2: The Trench on Prime Video?

There is some bad news to get started. As a Warner Bros. Pictures movie, this is not coming to Prime Video. At least, not right away.

It’s heading to Max first. The good news is that Max is part of the Amazon Channels, so you will be able to grab access via Prime Video with the additional fee. At least you can keep it all in one place and avoid the problematic Max user interface.

It could head to Prime Video in a few years. We’ll keep an eye out for that.

Is Meg 2: The Trench on Amazon Video?

There is another way to stream movies on Amazon. What about buying Meg 2 on Digital? This will be via Amazon Instant Video and the movie is then added to your Amazon Library.

You can bet it that the movie will go to Digital. It’s a big way for Warner Bros. to make back money on the movie. You’ll be able to pay once and watch it over and over again for as long as you have your Amazon account.
