As books moved between themselves, there was very little change to the list of most read Amazon books. Here’s the list from Sunday, July 23.

It was another week of very little change on the list of most read books on Amazon. This isn’t that surprising. We often get these weeks where people are happy with the books that they’ve found.

The books on the list did move between themselves. However, the Top 5 remained the same as the previous week, keeping The Covenant of Water by Abraham Verghese at the top of the list for another week. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rowling remained in second place.

The Housemaid up, Never Lie down

The first change was The Housemaid by Freida McFadden. The novel gained another spot on the list, getting into eighth place. It knocked The Five-Star Weekend by Elin Hilderbrand out of that spot, but that novel didn’t just go down one place. It went down two places.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling gained three spots to get back into the Top 10. The Half-Blood Prince just narrowly missed out on a Top 10 spot after gaining two places on the list.

Never Lie by Freida McFadden had been gaining spots in previous weeks. That wasn’t the case last week. It lost three places, dropping into 13th place.

The biggest mover down was Happy Place by Emily Henry. It lost four places, just holding onto a Top 15 spot. Will it be able to remain on the list this week?
