It all starts with the release of Dances With Wolves on Monday, July 31. The 1990 movie stars Kevin Costner as a soldier in the Civil War who ends up developing a strong friendship with the Lakota people. He is given the name Dances With Wolves, and the movie takes us through the highs and lows of their connection.

The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart, The Goonies, and more

Tuesday, Aug. 1 will see the bulk of the August content released on Prime Video. This includes plenty of movies from the past, including The Goonies. There is no way you can go without watching this classic once more. It’s a great movie to watch with the whole family. There’s never a time too early to introduce the kids to it.

If you’re in the mood for horror, then you’ll want to turn your attention to the Saw movies. The first six movies are dropping on Tuesday, Aug. 1. It’s perfect timing with talk of another movie in the franchise coming out. Of course, the first three movies are the best, but there’s nothing like watching people get their just desserts at times.

Friday, Aug. 4 has a new Amazon Original Series you’ll want to check out. It’s all about The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart. Alice has what seems to be the perfect life, but it’s all about to change. Her parents die in a fire, and Alice is sent to live with her grandmother on a flower farm. This series is all about grief, loss, and a birth of a new life.
