There was a major leak that showed Crowley and Aziraphale together in Good Omens Season 2. Is that how the season ended for the two of them?

Caution: This post contains major spoilers from Good Omens Season 2.

Throughout Good Omens Season 1, there were hints that Crowley and Aziraphale were in love. Then we got that major leak from the second season. It gave us hope that we’d get the romance that we’ve been waiting for.

However, the two characters spent a lot of the season separated. Aziraphale headed to Edinburgh to get some clues about what had happened to Gabriel, while Crowley remained at the bookshop to attempt to make a miracle work to keep Heaven and Hell of their backs. How did it all end in the season?

Did Crowley and Aziraphale get together in Good Omens Season 2?

At the end of the season, the angel and demon found out what Heaven had done to Gabriel. Heaven wanted the Apocalypse to happen, but Gabriel didn’t. Heaven demoted Gabriel and wiped his memories. As the story went on, Aziraphale was offered a promotion. He could become the next Supreme Archangel.

Aziraphale wanted to take the job. He still believed that Heaven was made up of the good guys, but Crowley knew that wasn’t the case. Aziraphale offered to bring Crowley up to Heaven to become an angel again, but Crowley didn’t want that. He kissed Aziraphale and showed his true feelings for the angel, but sadly, that wasn’t enough for Aziraphale.

The angel chose Heaven while Crowley chose Earth—not even Hell. Good Omens Season 2 ended with that one moment we’d been waiting for only to have it taken away. Now we need a third season to see how it all plays out and whether the two can find their way back to each other.
