When is Barbie on DVD and Blu-ray?

While the Barbie movie is the big thing to see in theaters, you’ll also want to watch it at home. When will it come to DVD and Blu-ray?

Barbie is getting a live-action movie, and it’s everything we needed and more. This is more than just a movie about the world’s most famous doll. It’s a movie that speaks volumes about everything wrong with a patriarchal society. It also has messages of self-awareness, fighting for something bigger and brighter, and simply living in the moment.

This is something worth watching in theaters. Then you’ll want to own it at home. That means knowing when and where you can get it on DVD and Blu-ray. As the movie has only just come out in theaters, we don’t yet have a DVD release date. We can take a look at other movies to see when to expect this one.

When is Barbie coming to DVD and Blu-ray?

This is a Warner Bros. movie, so we’re looking at the likes of Shazam! Fury of the Gods and The Flash to get an idea of when to expect this one. However, it’s worth noting that Barbie is expected to be bigger than the two of them considering the ticket pre-sales.

It took the two movies two to two and a half months to head to DVD and Blu-ray. With that in mind, we could look at the Margot Robbie movie coming out on DVD around Tuesday, Oct. 3. It could be a little later if the movie performs well in theaters and Warner Bros. wants to take advantage of that.

The Digital release will be sooner, though, right? That is a possibility. It took about three to four weeks for the Digital releases of the two other movies. We could see this one come to Digital around Tuesday, Aug. 22.

Barbie is currently out in theaters.
