When is Theater Camp on DVD and Blu-ray?

Ben Platt and Molly Gordon star in Theater Camp, a movie about, well, a theater camp! When can you own the comedy-drama on DVD and Blu-ray?

When the founder of an upstate New York theater camp falls into a coma, the rest of the staff need to figure out how to keep it going. Of course, they are nothing compared to their beloved founder, but they will do what they can.

The team is made up of some eccentric characters. This is not a movie to miss out on. With so many great movies hitting theaters right now, you may not have had time to see them all. You’ll want to add some to your DVD collection instead, and this could be one of them. When will that be possible?

Theater Camp DVD release date

There isn’t a set release date just yet. That’s not surprising at this point in time. The movie has only just come out in theaters. We need to look at movies from the same production company to see when we can expect it. This is a Searchlight Pictures movie, so we’re looking at Empire of Light and The Banshees of Inisherin to get an idea.

It took only six weeks for The Banshees of Inisherin to head from theaters to DVD. Empire of Light took a little longer at around two and a half months. It’s worth noting that Chevalier, which was released in April 2023, doesn’t even have a DVD release date yet. With that in mind, we could be looking at studios returning to the 90-day exclusivity window for theaters. It could mean we’re waiting until October 2023 for Theater Camp to be released.

What about on Digital? We’re probably looking at a couple of months for the release to happen, which puts us at around Tuesday, Sept. 12. We’ll be sure to keep an eye out.
