Did Luis die in The Horror of Dolores Roach Season 1?

Things went wrong for Luis and Dolores in The Horror of Dolores Roach Season 1’s finale. Did Luis die in the end, or will he return?

Luis did everything he could to protect Dolores. That included framing Nellie for murder. That was something Dolores couldn’t stand by and allow, though. She couldn’t be with someone who would do that considering what her ex-boyfriend Dominic did to her.

As she was leaving Luis, he tried to stop her. He didn’t want her to leave him behind, but Dolores didn’t want to be with him. So, she pushed his face in the cooking oil and then accidentally set the place alight. It looked like Luis was dead by the end of it, but is that really going to be the case?

Will Luis returning The Horror of Dolores Roach?

The lesson on TV is to not believe that a character has died until you see it happen on screen. Even then, you need to see someone check on the character to make sure they’re dead. That’s something Dolores didn’t do.

While we watched Luis collapse to the ground, it is possible that he could make it. Maybe he’s in the hospital recovering from all those burns. This would lead to him needing plastic surgery on his face, and he could end up looking like someone else. After all, the series never confirmed that Luis was one of Dolores’s victims.

It’s clear this was written to bring us a second season. We could see Dolores on the run and finding someone she thinks that she can trust. Then we find out that it’s Luis with a new face.

It does look like Luis is dead, though. The second season seems to be focused on Dolores finding Dominic to get her revenge on him.
