Are you ready for Justina Machado to take over the small screen again? Of course you are. You’ll get that chance this week with The Horror of Dolores Roach.
She is the titular character in the series, a woman who has just got out of prison after serving a 16-year sentence. As she moves back to her hometown, she realizes how much its been gentrified, and now she needs to figure out how to fit in. Fortunately, her old friend Luis, played by Alejandro Hernandez, is willing to let her stay.
Will she be able to stay on the right side of the law, though? That was the initial plan, but plans don’t always go right. And so starts Dolores’s new life in a world that she isn’t quite ready for—and it certainly isn’t ready for her!
When do new episodes of The Horror of Dolores Roach come to Prime Video?
The new series is set to arrive on Prime Video on Friday, July 7. This is a global original, which means it’s heading to Prime Video at midnight UK time.
That’s great news for us. Time zones work in our favor. The new episodes are likely to arrive on Prime Video on Thursday, July 6. Look out for them at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. There is no guarantee of this early release, but we see it a lot more often than we don’t.
If the episodes aren’t available right away, I’d suggest checking again an hour or two later. They will be there by midnight local, but I don’t usually find I’m waiting until midnight to watch episodes of my favorite Amazon Originals.
