Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is the latest release in the Indiana Jones franchise. When can you add it to your DVD collection?

There is absolutely no doubt that you’re in theaters this weekend to see Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. This is one of those highly anticipated movies that you need to see right away. At the same time, it’s one of those movies you know you need to add to your DVD collection.

It’s the fifth installment in the Indiana Jones franchise. You have all the other movies, so naturally, you need to add the latest to that collection. Things aren’t right when the collection isn’t complete. So, now you just need to know when it’s going to be possible.

When will Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny come to DVD and Blu-ray?

We can’t look at the previous movies to get an idea of the DVD release date. They were released too long ago. Instead, we need to look at other movies from the same production studio. This is a Disney movie under the LucasFilm banner. We can look at other Disney movies to get an idea as to when to expect this one.

We’re looking at Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. While the two are Marvel movies, they are also under the Disney banner and will likely have a similar release format.

They both took about three months to go from theaters to DVD. This was the standard before the pandemic and it looks like Disney is going back to that. With that in mind, we’re looking at around Tuesday, Sept. 26 or Tuesday, Oct. 3 for this movie to head to DVD and Blu-ray. There should also be some great bonus features for this addition to the franchise.
