The first of the month always sees a bulk of content drop on Prime Video. July is no different, and there’s a great mixture arriving today.
Of course, if you loved the Legally Blonde movies, you’ll want to watch them again. Reese Witherspoon was iconic as Elle Woods, and these are stories that still standout today. Way before it was “cool” to show women supporting women, we got Elle Woods. She didn’t care about background, and she wasn’t there to judge. She just wanted to make sure everyone had the best chance at success in life.
Plus, she made it clear that she was more than just a pretty face. Sometimes being interested in “superficial” things will help you win a case. That’s what she taught us in the murder trial.
Men in Black, Bill & Ted, and more
If you want another comedy, you’ll need to check out Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey. This is the 1991 sequel to the Excellent Adventure, which sees them killed off and having to play a range of games against Death to avoid a permanent trip to the afterlife.
What about if you want something on the more fantastical side of things? All three original Men in Black movies are available to stream. They’re a great watch for the whole family, so you’ve got your Saturday night marathon sorted out.
If you are in the mood for horror, there are a few options too. The original The Amityville Horror, which was based on a true story, is now available to stream. There’s also The Shawshank Redemption, which is more psychological than horror.
