Will there be a Season 5 of Jack Ryan?

Jack Ryan Season 4 has started. The first two episodes are now available to stream, with two episodes dropping per week over the next two weeks. Is this set to be the last of the series, or will there be a Season 5?

The fourth season of Jack Ryan has certainly been worth the wait. The downside to it is that there will only be six episodes. That’s sure to leave us wanting more.

So now, all eyes are on whether Amazon will renew the show or not. This is one of the best shows on the streamer in terms of viewing figures. It seems ridiculous that Amazon would cancel it. So, there’s going to be a fifth season, right?

Jack Ryan Season 5 is not happening at Prime Video

There is some bad news. Shortly after confirming Season 4, Amazon announced that it would be the last. There is a chance we’ll get a spin-off series—and there may be more after that—but John Krasinski will not lead as Jack Ryan.

Will another streamer step in to save it? Don’t count on that. There isn’t actually anything that needs saving. This was written as the final season of the series, so it’s not like we’ll end up with a major cliffhanger.

In fact, the reason the show is ending is because of Krasinski. He signed on for four seasons, and it doesn’t sound like he’s interested in signing on for more. He’s a busy man with a family he wants to be present for, so it’s not that surprising that he’s stuck to his four years and ended it. At least the show is ending, and there could be a chance for him to return if a spin-off series calls for a cameo.
