Will I’m a Virgo be renewed for Season 2?

Amazon has brought ones of its most ambitious projects to Prime Video. It’s all about I’m a Virgo right now. Will there be a second season?

After airing the first four episodes of I’m a Virgo at South by Southwest, there has been a lot of hype for the series. This is an ambitious project. There are some out-of-this-world elements to the story, but it remains grounded in the messaging that comes across.

Chances are that you’ve already binge-watched all seven episodes of the first season. If you’ve not made your way through all of them, you’re part of the way through. And you just know you want more of this storytelling.

We’re not going into spoilers in this post. Don’t worry about the ending being ruined. We’re just looking at whether there is a chance that there will be a second season of the series.

Will I’m a Virgo Season 2 happen on Prime Video?

The first thing to point out is that Amazon hasn’t yet made a decision on the show. It only dropped on Prime Video today. Despite the interest from the South be Southwest crowd, Amazon will want to see how it performs on the streamer. After all, this is not a cheap production!

We also need to look at whether it was billed as a limited series or not. That’s not the case. The ending has been left pretty open to keep the story going, which is a good sign. It means that the creators want to keep the series going.

Now it’s all just whether there was enough interest or not. That’s really what will determine the pick-up or not. If not enough people watched the series all the way through, Amazon will decide to look at other projects. Sadly, this has been the case with some great shows—yes, we’re still salty about Paper Girls—so we’re just holding out hope that I’m a Virgo will be renewed.
