I’m a Virgo is one of the new Amazon releases at the end of the week. Is this something to stream with the kids around? What is the official age rating?

If you’re looking for something new to check out, then you’ll want to wait until the end of the week on Amazon. I’m a Virgo is a fantastical dark comedy series worth watching.

It follows Cootie, a 13-foot Black man who has hidden away from the world all his life. When he manages to get out, he has the opportunity to experience the world for himself. That includes getting to meet his idol, the real-life superhero The Hero.

As a global original, the official release time is midnight UK on Friday, June 23. This means that we’re likely to see the release the night before in North America, and it could be at a time when the kids are still up. Will you need to wait for them to go to bed when it comes to this one?

I’m a Virgo age rating

The official age rating for the series is TV-14, according to Filmy Age Rating. This is the same as most network TV shows, and it means that it’s aimed at those who are 14 and older. However, there won’t be too much in terms of nudity, foul language, and violence. So, it could be somewhat suitable for some younger children but it may not be interesting for them.

Teenagers will certainly get a kick out of the show. It’s dark comedy still brings a lot of important subjects to light and it’s highly entertaining.

That being said, you’ll know your children the best. It could be worth watching at least the first episode yourself to see if this new series is suitable for your children. I recommend anything new that isn’t purposely designed for children in mind.
