If you’re in the mood for a dark comedy, you’ll want to wait until the end of the week on Amazon’s Prime Video. I’m a Virgo is going to deliver exactly what you need. This coming-of-age story isn’t just a comedy, though. It’s set in a fantastical world that makes it 100 times better.

The series follows a 13-foot Black man who has been hidden away for his whole life. After all, his parents wanted to keep him safe. He’s grown up with just comic books and TV shows to keep him company, but that all changes when he escapes.

He gets to see the life for himself. Of course, there are plenty of people wary of him, but there are others who are willing to give him a chance. Then there’s his idol, the very real superhero The Hero. Seems like a well-thought-out superhero name.

When can you watch I’m a Virgo on Prime Video?

The new episodes will drop at once on Prime Video. The official release date is Friday, June 23, and this is a global release. This means it’s dropping at midnight UK time.

That’s great news for those of us in North America. We’re likely to get the release at around 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on Thursday, June 22. There is no guarantee of this happening, but it does happen more often than it doesn’t. We’ve even seen it with the bigger releases like The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and Citadel recently, so we are expecting the early release with this one.

If it’s not available right away, it will be on Prime Video by midnight local.
