DVD releases this week: Avatar 2 and more

Avatar: The Way of the Water is the biggest of the DVD releases happening this week, but it’s not the only one. Take a look at everything arriving.

If you were waiting for Avatar 2 to come to DVD, there’s some great news. The wait is almost over. It’s happening this week on Tuesday, June 20. Those who loved the first movie and who loved this one in theaters will definitely want to add the release to their DVD collections.

It is not the only release happening this week, but it is arguably the biggest. There are some great options to add to  your DVD collection throughout the week.

Criminal Minds, The Covenant, and more

We start with Criminal Minds: Evolution Season 1. This is technically Criminal Minds Season 16. After all, the majority of the BAU members from Season 15 returned. There were many of the same problems with those above trying to shut down the BAU as it stands, and there were multiple UnSubs to go after.

This time, the UnSubs were connected to one bigger player. The team needed to get to the bottom of that while dealing with their own issues and trauma. Rossi had it hard with the loss of his wife, but there were a lot of issues that came up after the pandemic.

If you’re more in the mood for a Guy Ritchie movie, The Covenant is coming to DVD and Blu-ray this week. This isn’t quite your usual Guy Ritchie movie, but it’s great for those who love the likes of Lone Survivor and American Sniper. It gives another look at the world of veterans and some of the guilt they can feel when they get home.
