The Flash movie is now out in theaters, but when can you add it to your DC DVD collection? Here’s a look at a potential The Flash DVD release date.

The Flash movie brings us another look at Flashpoint from the comics. This movie adaptation sees Ezra Miller in the titular role as he changes the past and completely disrupts the future. Worlds collide due to his actions. All he wanted was to save his family, but he ends up in a reality where General Zod is back and the world is at threat again.

This time, there are no other superheroes to turn to. It sees the return of Michael Keaton’s Batman instead. They’ll need to rescue an imprisoned Supergirl if they want to save the world.  Where are Superman and the other heroes he’s worked with before?

When is The Flash movie on DVD and Blu-ray?

Of course, you may not want to see the movie in theaters. There is a lot of controversy around it. Even if you do see it in theaters, you’ll want to add it to your DVD collection. When will that be possible?

It shouldn’t be surprising to hear that there isn’t a set DVD release date just yet. It’s only just out in theaters. We need to look at other DC movies to see when they went from theaters to DVD, and for this, we’re looking at Black Adam and Shazam! Fury of the Gods.

It took a little more than two months for the two movies to get a DVD release date. We could be looking at something similar with this one, which means we’re looking at around Tuesday, Aug. 22 or Tuesday, Aug. 29. If it is Aug. 29, it will match the release of the TV version of The Flash as the final season is released on DVD and Blu-ray.
