The Lake Season 2 arrives this week on Prime Video. Is this something to binge-watch with the kids around, or should you wait for them to sleep?

One of the downsides of the summer months is that you need to work your viewing schedule around your children. They’re home from school, and they may stay up later than normal. So, you need to find out which shows you can watch with them around, and which ones you can’t.

The Lake Season 2 is coming to Prime Video on Friday, June 9. However, in North America, it will drop on Thursday night. Will you need to wait for the kids to sleep to watch it? It’s worth looking at the age rating to see who it is intended for?

The Lake Season 2 age rating

There is some good news for those with children in the house. The Lake Season 2 has a TV-G age rating in the United States. However, in other parts of the world, it’s been given an M or a 16+ age rating.

TV-G means that the series is suitable for all ages. You’ll just want to keep in mind that there is a little bit of adult content in terms of some of the language and the things the characters get up to. This isn’t intended for young children, and the topic of the series could end up a little boring for them.

If you watch the likes of Schitt’s Creek around your children, then this should be fine. The good news is the first season is already on Prime Video. If you want to get an idea of what to expect, that’s the show to check out to see if it’s going to be suitable. You’ll get an idea with the first episode.
