When is The Boogeyman coming to DVD and Blu-ray?
The Boogeyman is the latest horror movie out in theaters. When will you be able to watch it on DVD and Blu-ray? Here’s what you need to know.
Sophie Thatcher is switching out her ’90s attire on Yellowjackets for a modern-day high school horror movie. She plays Sadie Harper, who is struggling to deal with the death of her mother, just like her younger sister Sawyer. Their father isn’t that much support, who sees patients in the house.
When one patient unexpectedly shows up, he leads behind a supernatural entity that preys on families. The Harper family will need to figure out how to heal if they want to stop the Boogeyman from feeding on their suffering.
When is The Boogeyman on DVD and Blu-ray?
There are some big releases in theaters this weekend and coming up throughout June. You may not be able to see them all in theaters, so you’ll want to know when you can watch on DVD and Blu-ray. The Boogeyman doesn’t have a DVD release date just yet, but we can look at other movies from the same studio to get an idea.
This is a 20th Century Studios movie, so we’re looking at Amsterdam and Avatar: The Way of the Water to get an idea of when this movie will go from theaters to DVD.
It took just two months for Amsterdam to get the DVD treatment. Avatar 2 took much longer, with a six-month wait time. We’re not looking at the six-month wait for The Boogeyman. We’ll likely see something more like Amsterdam, so we’re looking at a release on around Tuesday, Aug. 1 or Tuesday, Aug. 8.
What about a Digital release? It took about a month for Amsterdam to go to Digital. That would suggest around Tuesday, July 4 or Tuesday, July 11 for this horror movie.
The Boogeyman is currently out in theaters.
