The Boys Season 4 is not coming to Prime Video in June 2023
We would love nothing more than to see the next season of The Boys already. When will The Boys Season 4 premiere on Prime Video?
It was in June 2022 that we got to see the premiere of The Boys Season 3. We had a feeling that would mean something bad for bringing the fourth season this summer. It was highly unlikely, and that remains to be the case.
The new season is not on the list of arrivals in June 2023. There are some big arrivals happening, though, including With Love Season 2 and Jack Ryan Season 4. It’s just not the superhero show that we would love to see.
When will The Boys Season 4 come to Prime Video?
Amazon hasn’t said how long we’ll need to wait for the new episodes. It doesn’t look like we’re close to the premiere date, so that’s not surprising. We tend to get premiere dates a month or two before they’re going to happen, so right now, we’re looking at Amazon releasing shows that will arrive in July or August of this year.
Filming didn’t end until earlier this year. This is a show that has a long post-production process, so we’re not really looking at it premiering until the end of 2023 at the earliest. We may need to wait until 2024.
There is one thing that could delay the series at this point in time. If SAG goes on strike at the end of June, it could mean post-production work is put on hold. It’s hard to say what’s going to happen right now.
There are going to be more Supernatural connections to the show. Jeffrey Dean Morgan was already announced as joining the season, and now we know Rob Benedict is joining the show. Eric Kripke, who was the showrunner of Supernatural as well as The Boys, has always stuck with those he enjoys working with, so it’s not surprising at all that more of the SPN Family are coming back. Look out for more Timeless stars too.
The Boys is available to stream on Prime Video.
