When will Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse come to DVD and Blu-ray?

Spider-Man and Gwen are catapulted back into the Spider-Verse in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. When will the animated movie come to DVD and Blu-ray?

It’s time to head back into the Spider-Verse. Miles teams up with Gwen once more, and this time, they’ll come across many other versions of their superhero alterego. They’ll all need to work together if they want to save not just their worlds but the entire multiverse.

Of course, you’ll head to theaters with the kids to see this release. The big question is when you’ll be able to add it to your DVD collection. Your kids already watch the first animated movie with Miles over and over again, so what about the ability to do the same with this one?

When is Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse on DVD and Blu-ray?

There is some bad news right now. We don’t have an exact date. When you consider the fact that the movie has only just hit theaters, that won’t be all that surprising. So, we need to look at other Sony releases to see when we could see it come out.

For this post, we’re looking at 65 and Missing. They are both Sony movies released in 2023, although neither of them are animated. This could affect a few things, so this is just a rough guide.

It’s taken about two months for both of the movies to go from theater to DVD. We’re looking at something similar happening here, which suggests a Tuesday, Aug. 1 or Tuesday, Aug. 8 DVD release date. We’ll certainly keep an eye on that.

What about on Digital, though? This is a great way to watch the movies, right? 65 only took about a month, while it took about six weeks for Missing. We could see something similar to the latter with this release, so we’re looking at around Tuesday, July 18 for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse to come to Digital.
