DVD releases happening this week: Dungeons and Dragons and more

While there are only five confirmed DVD releases happening this week, there are some big ones. Get ready for Dungeons and Dragons on Tuesday, May 30.

It’s all about quality over quantity when it comes to the DVD releases this week. The new live-action Dungeons and Dragons movie is certainly the biggest release, but there are others to check out.

Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves sees Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Justice Smith, and Sophia Lillis form a quartet of unlikely friends. They all bring something different to the table, and they all have one goal in mind: to retrieve a powerful artifact that brings back the dead. Well, it will bring back one dead person, and Chris Pine’s character knows who that should be.

Of course, there is a lot stacked up against them. This movie certainly takes us on a fun adventure.

65, A Good Person, and more

If you want something that involves prehistoric creatures, you’ll want to check out 65 starring Adam Driver. This movie sees him crash land on a mysterious planet that is very much like what Earth would have been like during the time of the dinosaurs. Pilot Mills and his young companion Koa are the only survivors of the crash, but can they survive the planet?

Florence Pugh and Morgan Freeman star in A Good Person. It follows Pugh’s Allison, who is thrown into a turbulent life filled with guilt and grief after a tragic accident. All she’s ever done is try to be a good person, but is that enough to have a good life? It’s a heartwarming story about human struggles and overcoming loss. If anything, you’re going to get this for Pugh’s outstanding performance.
