Will The Boys Season 4 premiere in 2023?

We are patiently waiting for The Boys Season 4 to come to Prime Video. Will we get to see the series arrive in 2023, or are we waiting a little longer?

There are a few Amazon shows that we’re keeping a close eye on for when it comes to the new season. The Boys is one of them. We found out just as Season 3 was coming to an end that the story would continue. Filming has even wrapped. Does that mean we’ll get the new season this year?

What we do know is that the show isn’t going to arrive in the summer. There is no way that it can. That doesn’t rule out a possibility of it arriving at some point later in the year. However, it is worth pointing out that Gen V, the college spin-off series, is going to arrive this year.

When will The Boys Season 4 premiere on Prime Video?

Filming only wrapped back in April 2023, according to our sister site Bam Smack Pow. This would suggest that there’s a slim chance of the show arriving this year. After all, post-production takes a long time on a show like this. We’re looking at eight months at least.

Yes, this does suggest that the series could arrive sometime before the end of 2023. If that’s the case, we’re looking at toward the very end of teh year. But there is something else to factor in.

The writers strike could affect the post-production process. If any rewrites are needed or if anyone who is in the union striking, then they won’t be able to work on the post-production. On top of that, there is another potential strike coming in June, which could also affect the post-production process.

It might be safer not to expect The Boys Season 4 in 2023. If it does happen, then great, but I like to expect the worst and be happy when there is a pleasant surprise.
