There are many reasons to love a dystopian series. It gives us a look at things that could happen to turn our world into something we don’t recognize. It’s a chance for us to assess what we would do in the situation the characters find themselves in.

Well, that’s something Black Knight will offer. In this world, the air no longer supports humans. Instead, it kills them, and delivery drivers are necessary for life to continue. Of course, that means trouble, and it’s something we’ll see in the series.

Will Black Knight come to DVD and Blu-ray?

The only place to watch the series right now is Netflix. The question a lot of people have is whether it could head to DVD and Blu-ray in the future.

This is unknown, but it’s unlikely. You see, Netflix doesn’t need to put its own content on DVD and Blu-ray. This takes people away from the streaming platform, and there is no way the company wants to willingly make that happen.

Some shows and movies have gone to DVD. This is usually in the production contract, and you’ll see it’s common with Warner Bros. and some UK studios more than others. You can see that with Fuller House and The Crown.

What about Digital? Definitely don’t expect that. Those who buy the DVDs and Blu-rays want to be able to watch when there isn’t a stable internet connection. There is still a chance that people will stream on Netflix for convenience. Digital releases take away the convenience of Netflix away. People can just go to their Amazon or Google Play library to watch instead.

Black Knight is currently only available to stream on Netflix.
