Before the iPhone and Android smartphones, there was the Blackberry. The latest movie is all about the company, but can you watch it on Amazon?

Some people now won’t even remember the Blackberry phones. They were the first smartphones to hit the market. They were also the first phones to bring in the Qwerty keyboard isn’t of using the number pads. Yet, the company is no longer the powerhouse that it once was.

Do we really know what happened? Well, we can find out in the latest movie to hit theaters. It’s all about the company, including its rise to the first smartphone to its catastrophic demise. This is something that will not hold back the punches as it fictionalizes some of the events.

Now you want to know where you can watch the release at home. Is this a movie that will come to Amazon?

Is Blackberry on Prime Video?

We start with some bad news in that there’s a chance Blackberry won’t come to Prime Video. At least, not right away. This is an IFC film, and these movies are a little hit and miss where they go for streaming at first. It all depends on licenses and acquisitions that are made.

This doesn’t mean it will never head to Prime Video, though. Movies do move streaming homes regularly.

Is Blackberry on Amazon Video?

There is another way to watch movies on Amazon. It’s all about the digital releases. This movie is going to head to Digital, and that will mean it heads to Amazon Instant Video. This is the place to buy or rent movies. When you buy, you get to watch them over and over again without a subscription service.

It’s not clear when this release is going to happen, though. We’re looking at some time within the next three months.
