While we don’t have an exact date, we get a rough timeline as to when The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 is coming to Prime Video. It is definitely happening in 2023.

We still don’t know exactly when we’ll get to watch The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2. We’re expecting very soon. After all, this is the type of show that doesn’t take too long for production and post-production. At least, not compared to the likes of The Boys and Upload.

Amazon has been pretty quiet on the news for the series recently. That was until April 2023, when we learned that we would definitely get episodes this year. In fact, there isn’t that much longer left to wait in terms of seasons.

When is The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 coming to Prime Video?

Amazon made it clear that we will get new episodes in summer 2023. That’s not too surprising. It is when we expected to get new episodes of the show. Let’s remember that “summer” is in the title, and the first season dropped at the start of last summer.

Could we see it in June 2023? That is possible since filming wrapped a while ago. We may need to wait until July if post-production takes a little extra time, but June is certainly doable for a series like this.

Some of the release patterns come down to scheduling. You see, The Summer I Turned Pretty is not going to be the only big Amazon show ready for release, and Amazon needs to space out its content. That’s even more important with the writer’s strike still potentially going ahead (no confirmation at the time of writing this) and how that could affect future content for the streamer.
