Jack Ryan Season 4 is not coming to Prime Video in May 2023

We wish we had better news about Jack Ryan Season 4. It is not on the list of arrivals on Prime Video in May 2023. When could it arrive?

We would have loved for Amazon to surprise us with the arrival of Jack Ryan Season 4 this month. The bad news is that it’s not happening, and when you consider some of the releases this month, that’s probably not too surprising.

There are still some episodes of Citadel to air throughout the month of May. Amazon knows that Citadel and Jack Ryan will cover the same audience base. It doesn’t make sense for the streamer to bring two similar shows out at the same time. Plus, there has been no promotion for the John Krasinski show as of yet, so a surprise release wouldn’t make a lot of sense.

When could Jack Ryan Season 4 come to Prime Video?

The good news is filming started back in February 2022. There is a good chance that filming is now complete, although this isn’t a show that is all that open about where it is, when it’s filming, and the stage of post-production it is in. This does help to avoid spoilers, but it also causes some frustrations with fans.

We could see it at some point this year, but Amazon will want to space out its content. We also know that Reacher Season 2 is set to come out some time this year, and like Citadel, that show will have a similar fanbase as Jack Ryan. Spacing out the two shows will be important. This is even more the case when you consider the potential writer’s strike (which hasn’t been confirmed at the time of writing this).

We’ll keep an eye out for any updates on Jack Ryan Season 4, which is definitely the last of the show.
