When is Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret on DVD and Blu-ray?

Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret is now available to watch in theaters. When will you be able to own it at home on DVD and Blu-ray?

When it comes to coming-of-age stories, that is a timeless one from Judy Blume. It’s all about the novel Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret. This novel continues to remain popular as reading material in school, and it remains poignant for young girls as they figure out the way of the world.

It’s finally got a movie adaptation. Rachel McAdams and Abby Ryder Fortson star in the Lionsgate release, which is now out in theaters. Of course, this is one of those you will want to add to your DVD collection as soon as possible. Whether you head to the theaters for it or not, you know it’s a DVD or Blu-ray you want.

Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret DVD release date predictions

With it just coming out in theaters, it’s not surprising to hear that there isn’t a DVD release date just yet. We need to look at other Lionsgate releases for this. For this post, we’re looking at Plane and Jesus Revolution, both of which came out in theaters earlier this year.

It took about two and a half months for Plane to make it to DVD but only two months for Jesus Revolution. With that in mind, we could see the release for Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret as early as Tuesday, June 27. We may have to wait until the middle of July.

What about on the Digital front? Plane only took a couple of weeks, while the latter took almost six weeks. So, we could have to wait until the beginning of June for this latest release.
