Most sold Amazon books last week: The Last Thing He Told Me reenters

The Last Thing He Told Me by Laura Dave unsurprisingly reentered the list of most sold Amazon books last week. Here’s a look at the full list.

When a book adaptation is finally released, it’s never surprising to see the book the adaptation is based on to make it to the list of most sold Amazon books. The Last Thing He Told Me is now on Apple TV+, with episodes released each Friday. The first episodes dropped on Friday, April 14, so it really wasn’t too surprising to see Laura Dave’s novel on the list of most sold books in the week starting April 16.

What was a little surprising was to see where on the list it reentered. After a few months of it no longer being on the list, the thriller made it ot the top spot, knocking Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus off that spot.

The Top 5 saw more change than just a couple of books moving down the list. Dark Angel by John Sandford entered in fifth place.

Coach up, I Will Find You down

There was a lot of movement on the list of most sold Amazon books last week. Coach by Devney Perry, which only entered the list the previous week, climbed 14 places last week. It just missed out on a Top 5 spot.

Things We Never Got Over by Lucy Score and It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover climbed up the list to fit snuggly in the Top 10 again. Haunting Adeline by H.D. Carlton lost three places just to hold onto a Top 10 spot.

The largest movers down the list were I Will Find You by Harlan Coben and Right Man, Right Time by Meghan Quinn. We’re sure to see the Coben novel move back up when it’s finally picked up for an adaptation. A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas also lost four spots to be knocked out of the Top 15, but that’s sure to move up when Ron D. Moore’s adaptation is brought out.
