How many episodes are in Dead Ringers Season 1?

Amazon gave Dead Ringers a straight-to-series order, and now we finally get to see the story play out. Just how many episodes are in the new series?

Fans of the 1988 movie of the same name may be excited to hear that the Amazon series is almost here. Now all you’ll want to know is just how many episodes there will be to tell the story.

Amazon isn’t consistent with its episode count. We often see eight to 10 episodes for the majority of shows, but there are a few that tend to be on the slightly shorter size. What’s the case for this genderswap rebooted series?

This is a shorter season than we usually see. Dead Ringers will have six episodes to tell the story.

All six episodes will drop at the same time. Yes, this is a binge-watch series, so it’s just like getting to watch the movie.

Rachel Weisz plays the identical twins in the series, the twins that Jeremy Irons played in the 1988 movie. They are gynecologists with an interest in infertility. The two perform questionably experiments on these infertile women with the hope of curing it.

There is some bad news going into this series. It is billed as a miniseries. The full story will be told over the course of six episodes. There are no plans on bringing a second season to continue the story, which means there shouldn’t be a cliffhanger ending. It looks like it’s going to be a slightly longer version of the movie, offering more time for expand characters.

If you want to savor the series because of this, you’ll need to work through the episodes over the course of the weekend and not in one sitting.
