Are you ready for a psychological thriller? Amazon has you covered with the new Amazon Original Series. It’s all about the reboot of the 1988 movie Dead Ringers.

This is a genderswap reboot. Rachel Weisz takes on the roles Jeremy Irons played in the David Cronenberg movie, but the main storyline is very similar. It’s all about two twins who are every bit the same as each other, including their unethical practices.

In the movie, Elliot is the one to lure the women in for their unethical treatments to help with their infertility. As he tires of them, he passes them onto Beverly. That seems to be the way things are going to work in the new Amazon series, but we’ll have to see if everything turns out to be the same.

When do episodes of Dead Ringers drop on Prime Video?

This new version is a series rather than a movie. All six episodes will drop on Friday, April 21. Now you just need to know the time to know if you’re staying up for all the episodes or not.

This is a global original, which means that it is dropping at midnight UK time on Friday, April 21. There is some great news for those in North America. Due to time zones, there is a good chance that we’ll get the episodes at around 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on Thursday, April 20. This has been happening a lot, and even happened last week with the release of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 5 premiere.

If the episodes don’t drop early, they will be available by midnight local. I just don’t think you’ll be waiting around too long.
