There is absolutely no doubt that Amazon fans are excited for this week. It’s one of the biggest weeks of the year due to the show that’s dropping. It’s all about The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
This week sees the beginning of the end. Three episodes of the final season will arrive on Friday, April 14. You will not want to miss the story of how Midge’s journey comes to an end. Of course, there are Susie, Rose, Abe, and even Joel to keep an eye on throughout the season. Our biggest concern is about Lenny Bruce, though.
Ticket to Paradise, The Power, and more
If you’re looking for something to get you through the week, it’s all about Ticket to Paradise on Tuesday, April 11. The George Clooney and Julia Roberts movie sees them as a divorced couple who end up at their daughter’s destination wedding. Of course, there are tensions, but it’s a movie, and we need to see the two of them fall in love with each other all over again.
On Wednesday, April 12, Life Itself drops. This isn’t to be confused with the Amazon movie of the same name. It’s a 2014 documentary that looks at the life of film critic Roger Ebert. Steve James looks at Ebert’s highs and lows, including his ruthless rivalry with Gene Siskel.
There is also a new episode of The Power. Things are stepping up as we reach the halfway point. As many men get scared of what the women around them can do, the women need to figure out how to harness their abilities for good.
