Will Joel return in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 5?
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 5 is just around the corner. Who will we see return? Will Joel’s story be completed this season?
While The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel has been heavily focused on the titular Midge Maisel, there are other characters we’ve seen grow and realize their dreams. Joel is one of them. He started off with a dream of being a comedian, but ended up realizing that he wanted to run a club.
The fourth season saw some major changes in his life. One of those was his girlfriend finding out she’s pregnant. That may not have been too bad had Mei not been a Chinese-American. Joel is terrified of telling his parents that he has fallen for Mei because of their clash of cultures. They’re going to have to find out soon.
Will Joel be in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 5?
There is some good news for those who want to see what’s next for Joel. He will be back in the fifth and final season. We’ll get to see where his story goes, including whether he’ll finally get the guts to tell his parents about Mei. Maybe Midge can hint at something for them.
We should also see more of Joel’s club and whether it can succeed or not. The club is on top of an illegal Chinese gambling joint, which has caused a few problems here and there. However, it’s because of that that Joel met Mei, and the two have tried to work together to make everything a success.
My biggest question is whether Joel will be able to stay faithful to Mei. Once a cheater, always a cheater in my opinion.
