Looking for something to add to your DVD collection this week? There are some great DVD releases happening on Tuesday, April 4.

It’s a quiet start to April when it comes to DVD releases. The good news is that it gets a lot busier later in the month. If you want to hold off for some of those releases, that will make a lot of sense.

However, there are two releases happening on Tuesday, April 4. One of those is a popular TV show, while the other is a movie.

South Park Season 25 is coming to DVD and Blu-ray this month

If you’re a fan of adult animation, you likely watch a lot of South Park. The series has finished airing its 25th season, and now you get to own it on DVD and Blu-ray. It’s surely a great addition to the rest of the seasons already in your DVD collection.

This is the shortest season of the series so far. It had only six episodes, and they all aired in 2022. With the show now moving to Paramount+ to stream, it’s not surprising that the DVD release timeframe is getting longer. This isn’t the shortest season by episode count, though!

The 26th season is currently streaming on Paramount+ with the finale airing just recently. We’re looking at that season coming out on DVD next year.

The other DVD release is Confess, Fletch, the 2022 movie starring John Hamm. Fletch becomes a murder suspect and needs to find a way to prove his innocence. As he goes through the case, he uses a fake identity to meet those who he believes were involved in the crimes he’s being accused of, including his girlfriend’s stepmother and brother.

What if the kidnapping of his girlfriend’s father wasn’t real, though? Things take a major twist when Fletch learns that the father faked everything!
