When is Dungeons and Dragons on DVD and Blu-ray?

Dungeons and Dragons fans are flocking to theaters to see the movie starring Chris Pine. When can you add it to your DVD collection?

Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is not only getting the game fans into theaters. Anyone who loves fantasy with some comedic elements are also heading to theaters. This movie has something for everyone, and it’s not surprising to see it blow the competition away right now.

It’s receiving some great reviews, and there’s no doubt that you’ll want to add it to your DVD collection. The big question is when that will be possible. Just how long will it take for this movie to come to DVD and Blu-ray?

When is Dungeons and Dragons on DVD and Blu-ray?

The movie is only just out in theaters, so we don’t have a DVD release date just yet. That’s pretty normal, but we can look at other movies from the same production studio. This is a Paramount Pictures movie, and we can look at the likes of Scream and Top Gun: Maverick to get an idea for this release.

Scream in 2022 only took a little less than three months to go from theaters to DVD. Top Gun: Maverick took five months. The latter performed extremely well in theaters, so that’s not too surprising.

We could see Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves take around the three months, which is standard for a DVD release time frame. It will depend on whether the movie continues to perform well in theaters. If it keeps bringing in the money, Paramount will want to keep it in theaters exclusively for as long as possible.

At the earliest, we’re probably looking at around Tuesday, June 20 for a date on DVD. It could be as early as Tuesday, May 23 for the Digital release.
